Non-figurative yet referencing the body, these abstract flower-like vessel forms explore growth, fertility and abundance. I made these works while pregnant and in the early years of raising my first child. With time constraints while caring for my baby, I made my sculptures small and intimate. They are hand built with red earthenware clay using press molding techniques.
