Non-figurative yet referencing the body, these abstract flower-like vessel forms explore growth, fertility and abundance. I made these intimate works while pregnant and in the early years of raising my first child. With many time constraints while caring for my baby, I worked on a small scale to hand build these red earthenware clay sculptures.
