This ceramic collection was first exhibited in 2010 in the solo exhibition "Archetypes in Clay: recent work" at David Kaye Gallery, Toronto. In these ceramic plates, female strength, grace, wisdom and desire are explored. This study is contextualized within archetypal forms found in ancient Greek mythology. Kathy created images of the female psyche, drawing on her own Greek heritage and distilled from the stories of the goddesses Persephone, Athena and Artemis. Home(click to enlarge image)
